Daz McDowall

Events Coordinator / Admin Manager
Based in Western Australia Daz has a knack for organising things.
Daz has been riding horses since she was 10 yrs old. When she left school after completing yr 12 she worked as a Veterinary nurse for 7 years then moved into clerical positions in various businesses – progressing into doing the administration for family businesses. Daz and her husband Steve were in the Kimberley’s in 2003 at the same time as Dan James, when Steve was the cattle manager and Daz was in charge of implementing the NLIS tags for the 25,000 head of cattle on Liveringa Station. After leaving Liveringa Daz worked for another station owner in the Kimberleys administering the 5 stations owned by Yeeda Pastoral Company. Daz is currently based just outside York Western Australia where her husband manages a cattle property on 7000 acres.
Daz is an open campdrafter – owning and training her own horses, and successfully competes around the state. It is in the campdrafting circles that she first met Dan & Pia Steers. She was also the founding President of the West Australian Team Penners Association which she and a small group of friends founded in 2009 to help people who don’t know a lot about working cattle with their horses to gather skills and experience to maybe progress towards campdrafting or at the very least have fun with their friends and family with their horses.
Daz holds great admiration for Dan & Dan & Pia - recognising the exceptional talent that is "Double Dan Horsemanship"
