From Farmer to Farmer, Hay Australia stores, processes and markets premium quality oaten hay grown in the Western Australian wheatbelt and exports it to the North Asian markets of Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

The Middle East and Malaysia are also regular destinations for Hay Australia's products.

The Australian hay export industry exists due to the intensive nature of farming in these Asian countries, their strategic requirement for food security and food safety, and the inability of their domestic farming systems to produce sufficient quantity of high quality fodder.
